Here is an Editorial Illustration I created for the Kings Place “What’s On” Magazine. The article talks about Brahms piano pieces and how they have been historically played ‘hard’ but there are actually far more subtle and beautiful. Bear at a piano? Why the hell not! This one will be out at the end of February.

Times Higher Education Commission

Another commission came through last week from those lovely people at The Times. The piece was to illustrate an article on the latest UCAS figures. The figures as expected did show a decline in students applying due to the higher fee scheme. There was also a great drop in students applying for language courses. It is a very uncertain picture for the future of Higher Education for sure. This one is out on Thursday!

Commission for The Times Educational Supplement

I was commissioned last week to produce another illustration for The Times. The artwork was for an article on pedagogy and how classrooms are becoming over populated, facing disruption with the balance of mobile and non mobile students often with little official guidance for teachers as to how best deal with the problem. This one will be out in the shops on 6th February folks!

Commission for The Times Higher Education Magazine

I was commissioned last week to create an illustration for The Times Opinion Piece. The article is about preserving the mother tongue and the importance of heritage. Language it appears is an endangered species and there are very few countries that still retain their linguistic roots (Hebrew being one of them). It will be out in the next edition of The THE Magazine so keep your eyes peeled for this one!

Back Lecturing at Goldsmiths

Well I started back lecturing at Goldsmiths last week. I will be teaching some lovely 3rd years their final projects leading to their Final Degree Show in June. I will also be teaching some 2nd years Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Projects after half term. Its good to be back…

Design Fair at Nottingham Contemporary

Firstly a very Happy New Year! Its been a busy old couple of months, but I’m finally able to update on the Design Fair at the Contemporary in December. The show was host to 30 top notch designers and artists and was a roaring success. It was most lovely to meet lots of friendly folk who have bought my work in the past and who enjoyed seeing the new stock. I will be updating my etsy shop very soon to encompass more of the new stock seen at the show. Here is a pic of me proud as punch on my stall.

Brahms Unwrapped Brochure 2012

Well they are finally here! You can now pick up your Brahms Unwrapped 2012 brochure at Kings Place promoting the season of events. Animations of my work will also be shown on all the digital signage screens around the building till the end of 2012, I will be uploading videos shortly!

New Mug Designs

I was super excited this week to receive my mug sample back from the ceramics company. How blooming marvelous does this look? This is a new design entitled “The Lovers”. As soon as I get the order back, these beauts will be available to buy via my online shop so keep your eyes peeled!

Barnum Meserve Screen Printed Tee

The lovely Barnum Meserve boys sent me this picture yesterday of the illustration work I did for them screen printed onto a tee. Looking good if I do say so myself! I’m even going to be getting a girls tee sent to me in the post. Very Exciting.
